The Chairman’s Society was founded by J. Larry Tyler, FAAHC, FACHE, FHFMA, CMPE, co-author of the bestseller Practical Governance; Vice Chairman of the Practical Governance Group; President of the national healthcare executive search firm of Tyler & Company; and former Chairman of the American Association of Healthcare Consultants. Tyler’s vision is to create an organization that is devoted exclusively to enhancing the leadership effectiveness of healthcare board Chairmen and Chairmen-Elect. 

Key to his vision is the belief that among the best educators of these individuals are others who have practical, firsthand experience with board leadership—current Chairmen and past Chairmen.
